Famous celebrities and their detox diets
There is a lot of controversy today when it comes to detox diets. Some experts still claim that there probably is little proof that detoxing can actually flush toxins out of the body and get rid of that unwanted fat. That being the case, there are still a lot of people using this form of dieting. Even famous celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce Knowles, and Gwyneth Paltrow just to name a few. All of them are using their own celebrity detox diet and making great impressions on their fans.
So who wouldn’t want to follow what they are doing? All of them, except for Oprah have amazing bodies. Oprah on the other hand is trying her best to trim down again after gaining weight. However, everybody knows that when Oprah Winfrey sets her mind to something, she will definitely succeed.
All of those celebrities have their own celebrity detox diet to follow. They usually have their own specialists to help them get back in shape and a trainer to guide them with the right detox plan. Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce are known believers in celebrity detox diets. In fact, they are known for doing a couple of different cleansing procedures such as the Master Cleanse. This cleanse has received a lot of criticism since critics are still uncertain if the Master Cleanse can really cleanse or not. But they still use it! Gwyneth does however seek advice from a famous detox doctor who has helped her with her New Year detox.
The very sexy Angelina Jolie did the Martha’s Vineyard detox diet and attempted to lose 21 pounds in 21 days. According to reports, as a result of this detox, she ended up in fatigue and stopped her detox diet to be able to eat some small meals. When doing a cleanse or detoxing, it is crucial to listen to your body.
There are a lot of benefits in doing a detox diet, although the procedure is difficult, the result of this can also be beneficial since we will feel more alert and have more energy. This is especially the case after the regimen is complete. However, like ordinary people, celebrities can also go overboard and can suffer the same fatigue as us even if they are working with their famous specialists. If they do their detox plan longer than expected, they can end up in having a devastating result. Just a healthy precaution for dieters- although doing your detox diet may be good for you, do not attempt to imitate what some celebrities do, even their famous experts can’t help them when they are fainting, and starving. Some of them taking it to the extreme and don’t properly follow their cleanse. When cleansing, follow the directions of the cleanse, don’t invent your own.

A detox story of Alex and Morgan
A lot of people nowadays are going crazy over dieting in order to have that perfect body that they have always wanted. And who wouldn’t want to stay fit, be younger looking and more alert. Most Hollywood stars seem to always look fit and sexy. Although people may go to the extreme, they still follow their heart and try any possible way to stay fit. The good thing about staying fit nowadays is that more and more people are trying to lose weight the natural way as opposed to relying on diet pills to lose those pounds. More and more people are turning to detox diets, which are safer than other forms of dieting. There are many types of detox diets including Alex’s detox diet.
Alex’s detox diet was created by Alex Jamieson to undo what her boyfriend Morgan Spurlock did to himself. Morgan Spurlock was the director and star of his own documentary film – Super Size Me. He made himself eat McDonalds for a month and by the end of the month, he gained 25 pounds. Morgan developed chest pains, high blood pressure, and the fat content of his liver had a 2000 percent increase. He also damaged his social life along with his health and his libido.
Now for Morgan to be able to get back to his old life once more, he was aided by his girlfriend Alex and made an “Alex’s detox diet plan” for himself that he needed to carry out for 8 weeks. This Alex’s detox diet was a real success for Morgan. The process made him change his diet and as a result his liver function, blood pressure and cholesterol level came back to their original standards and he was able to lose 10 pounds. It was a real success story and because of that Alex made her own book, The Great American Detox Diet, which can help vegetarian and non-vegetarians alike to have their own option in choosing the right diet meant for those people who want to trim down.
Although, The Great American Detox diet was the result of her many years of research and experiences. It focuses less on how to lose weight but discuses more on the well-being of a person and their total body health. It also has some specific food suggestions and exercises to follow and of course the importance of detoxifying our body to an even healthier state.
The idea of Alex’s detox diet is simple; we have to be more aware about the food we consume since it is our own body we are abusing.
